NOOSA, AUSTRALIA

Whale-Watching Season

From late July to November, the Sunshine Coast is visited by magnificent humpback whales, which migrate from Antarctica to the warmer waters of the Great Barrier Reef. People come to the Sunshine Coast from all over the world to view these amazing mammals in a truly unspoilt and scenic environment.

Although whales can be easily spotted from any Sunshine Coast beach during this period, the best way to get close to our visiting Humpbacks is from onboard a whale-watching tour. GV Noosa arranges regular whale-watching day trips from July through to November, and this is one of the most popular annual events for our students.
