NOOSA, AUSTRALIA

GV Noosa (Caloundra Campus) programs lead to guaranteed paid work placement!

GV Noosa's new Caloundra Campus is operated in conjunction with CADET International College. This has allowed GV to develop two exciting new vocational short courses, both of which lead to GUARANTEED work placement for Working Holiday students.

Resort Services Course (4 weeks)

This program is designed to equip students for work in a resort setting, either on the Sunshine Coast or elsewhere in Queensland.

The Resort Services Program includes units from the National Hospitality Training Package (recognised Australia-wide) and was designed to address employers' specific requirements in the housekeeping departments of hotels and resorts. On successful completion of the course, students will be fully-equipped with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to start work right away.

Whilst the program is practical in nature, it is underpinned by solid theoretical knowledge, which may be expanded should students wish to continue their studies to a higher level and gain further qualifications. Work placements are fully guaranteed for successful graduates.

Bar and Barista Course (5 weeks)

This program is designed to equip students for work in the Sunshine Coast’s vibrant tourism industry. The program is very practical in nature, offers a 'hands-on' approach and is designed around the running of a coffee shop, cafe or bar. As with the Resort Services program, work placements are fully guaranteed for successful graduates, with students being put into positions either on the Sunshine Coast or on resorts in the Great Barrier Reef region.

Pristine Noosa

Noosa has long been recognized in Australia and around the world for its protection of the natural environment.

This achievement was recognised recently when Noosa was granted "World Biosphere Reserve" status by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.

This means that Noosa is one of the few places in Australia where humans have achieved both conservation and development – a place where people have been able to live in harmony with their environment.
