Love is in the Air at GV Toronto!
Study block four proved to be one filled with romance! In the third week of the session, one of the Cambridge students, Mariana from Mexico, got a lovely surprise. Her boyfriend, Daniel who was visiting from Mexico, came in one day with a special request. He wanted to propose to Mariana here at school, surrounded by her friends, classmates and "GV family". He had the ring all ready – a Canadian diamond!

The plan was quickly put together by Rosa, our Customer Service Representative, Vesna, our Head Registrar and Ian, Mariana’s teacher. Near the end of the class – in the open computer lab in the lounge, Daniel got down on one knee and asked Mariana to marry him in front of everyone. The admin staff from the second floor and three other classes came out to witness the event. It was a great moment, full of cheers, hugs, and tears of happiness.
Both Daniel and Mariana said that they were really thankful for GV Toronto and how special we were able to make the moment. All the staff at GVT wishes the ecstatic couple all the best and only happiness for their future together. |
