GV Victoria is an English school well-known for our caring staff, our diverse international community of students, and a friendly, positive atmosphere. We offer English classes at eight levels of General ESL as well as Specialized English courses like English for Business, Power Speaking, Cambridge FCE and CAE preparation, English for High School, and Teen Activity Programs. As Victoria’s only IELTS Test Centre, we also offer full-time classes in IELTS preparation.
Global Village Victoria is situated in the centre of one of Canada’s most charming cities. The English school is only a few minutes’ walk from Victoria’s picturesque inner harbor as well as outdoor cafes, pubs, boutiques, restaurants and shopping malls. Victoria is also recognized as the warmest city in Canada with a progressive outlook and artistic flavour. The City of Victoria is safe with a strong sense of social and environmental consciousness. Students can enjoy a West Coast lifestyle and participate in incredible natural experiences like whale watching, kayaking, hiking and cycling, as well as snowboarding and skiing. The variety of English courses means that students have the flexibility to study in General English or Specialized Programs, such as English for Business and Power Speaking. Exam preparation courses for IELTS and Cambridge FCE and CAE have led countless ESL students to success. As Vancouver Island’s first and only IELTS Test Centre, Global Village Victoria allows students to prepare for IELTS and to take the official IELTS exam within our English School.
