Several options are available to students who wish to remain in Canada permanently after completing your English studies, post-secondary education and post-graduation work experience in Canada.
Global Village Pathway students who proceed to post-secondary diploma or degree programs at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada may qualify for a post-graduate work permit (PGWP). The PGWP provides students with the opportunity to gain international experience, skills, and income upon graduation.
A variety of immigration pathways are available for international students to live permanently in Canada (PR), which require certain language skills and work experience.

🎓 Reiko Sonoda has been with us for 15 weeks – starting in GV4 then moving all the way up to GV 6. Well done Reiko!! She made a lot of friends and improved her English a lot! I think she liked it here!!!
🎓 Yoojung Nam was also here for a long time and improved so much that she graduated at the GV6 level. Yoojung and her bestie Mona Kanazawa graduated on the same day and were both here for 20 weeks. Amazing students and amazing friends! We’ll miss them both.

🎇Graduation Day at GV!🎓
Lots of superstars leaving us this week at GV Victoria – we are so sad to say goodbye to our friends but we are glad they have had such a good time here and made so many lifelong friends.
🎓 From GV 3 we said goodbye to Riho Okada. Riho was always a bright face everyday – so friendly and always trying her best.
🎓 Yuri Sato and Sunwoo Kim became besties here at GV – they started on the same day and finished on the same day! They were great students and great friends. We hope their friendship will last forever as they go back to their countries…and maybe we’ll see hem here again in the future – together of course! Happy birthday Yuri!!
🎓 Gretta Pamela Galvez Gutierrez has been with us for 39 weeks , working hard to pass her pathway to Camosun college. She successfully completed that this week and has started her classes already! We know she will be successful but we will miss her anyway.
From the bowling alley to the coffee shop! 🎳☕️ Our weekly activities are all about making memories and practicing English outside the classroom. Whether we’re hitting strikes or sipping lattes, it’s always better with friends! 🌟😊
