#5 – Academic Pathways &
Permanent Residency
Several options are available to students who wish to remain in Canada permanently after completing your English language studies, post-secondary education and post-graduation work experience in Canada.
Global Village Pathway students who proceed to post-secondary diploma or degree programs at a designated learning institution (DLI) in Canada may qualify for a post-graduate work permit (PGWP). The PGWP provides students with the opportunity to gain international experience, skills, and income upon graduation.
Please note that no programs at Global Village are eligible for a post-graduate work permit.
There are several immigration programs available to gain permanent residency (PR) in Canada. Because requirements and programs can change, it is always important to check the official websiteof Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for the most up-to-date information.

Junior Explorer – Residence
This unique summer camp experience combines engaging morning ESL classes with a full schedule of fun on- and off-campus activities in the afternoons and evenings.
Teen Explorer – Residence

Our adventure took us from the very top of the iconic Calgary Tower - where some were brave enough to stand on the glass floor with a view down to the vibrant city streets.🗼😲
We stopped for a well-earned coffee break and study session at the Mob Squad Cafe, then soaked up the sun and the incredible skyscraper scenery while wandering the city. ☕️☀️

🎓 Zoe Rojas joined us from Mexico. She started in GV 4 and graduated at the impressive Gv6 !! Always smiling and joking around and listening to cool music– we will definitely miss Zoe!
🎓 Victor Sebastian Corpus also joined us from Mexico – this time with his wife. He will be going to Royal Roads university in the fall and we wish him the best of luck in his studies.
