GV focuses exclusively on local university and college
partners in Victoria, Calgary, and the surrounding areas.
This allows our students to visit our university and college
partners while they study with us and prepare more
effectively for their post-GV college or university studies.

All of our partners accept successful completion of GV level 6 or 7 instead of an IELTS, Duolingo, or TOEFL score.

A Global Village transcript and Letter of Completion are proudly accepted as proof of English proficiency with our partner institutions.

English for Academic Purposes & Business English Pathways

Institutions accept a Global Village transcript and Letter of Completion as proof of English proficiency.

Successful completion of the GV EAP Course (English for Academic Pathways Course) satisfies the English language proficiency requirement for college and university admissions purposes.

IELTS Pathways

Institutions accept an IELTS exam scores as proof of English proficiency.

By taking an exam preparation program at Global Village, students learn from our test prep experts and have direct access to GV’s Official Test Centre staff who can answer questions right up until test day.

8:00 AM

Mid Morning: Commute to Global Village Victoria

Students usually choose to bike, walk, or take the bus through beautiful Victoria for their commute to the Global Village campus.

Late Morning: Going to Class with International Students
