Summer in Canada is something special, long sunny days, breathtaking landscapes, and the kind of experiences that shape who young people become. It is also one of the best times of year to blend English language instruction with genuine Canadian adventure, from the rugged peaks of the Rocky Mountains to the vibrant harbour city of Victoria. For international students chasing academic goals, seeking outdoor adventure, or simply ready to build real confidence in English, Global Village has a program designed for exactly that.

More Than a Language Class: A Canadian Experience

Global Village offers a range of summer programs designed specifically for juniors (ages 11 to 13) and teens (ages 14 to 17). What sets these programs apart is a simple but powerful belief: the best language learning happens when students are fully immersed — not just in a classroom, but in the world around them.

Every program combines high-quality English instruction with engaging activities and excursions, giving students the opportunity to use what they are learning in real, meaningful situations. Students leave with stronger English skills, lifelong friendships, and a genuine connection to Canada, experiences no textbook can replicate.

What Kind of Activities Can Students Expect with our Junior & Teen Summer Programs?

No two days look the same in a Global Village summer program. Depending on location and program, students might find themselves exploring the world-famous Calgary Stampede, whale watching off the coast of Vancouver Island, hiking through Banff National Park, or taking part in leadership workshops built to strengthen confidence and communication. Whether a student thrives on outdoor adventure or connects best through team sports and group activities, there is something here for every kind of young explorer. Full activity details are available on each individual program page.
