What is a Cambridge Exam Preparation Course?

Cambridge Exam Preparation is a course for students whose professional or educational goals require that they provide a Cambridge exam score.

 

GV Victoria offers intensive full-time classes that will prepare students to take the following Cambridge Exams:

 

Both of the Cambridge Preparation courses at Global Village will put students through intensive grammar and vocabulary instruction and familiarize students with the exam format, including all four (4) modules of the exam:

  • Reading / Use of English
  • Writing
  • Listening
  • Speaking

Our Cambridge Exam Preparation Course at Global Village in Canada

Registration in a Global Village Cambridge Preparation course also includes registration for a sitting of the corresponding Cambridge exam.

Our locations that offer Cambridge Preparation are also certified test centres, and students will be able to sit their Cambridge exam one week after their classes at Global Village ends.

Who are these courses for?

Cambridge certificates are internationally recognized by thousands of employers, universities, and government entities, and they do not expire. If you have aspirations of working or studying in an English-speaking country, the Cambridge Exams and the Cambridge Preparation Course may be right for you.

The B2 First exam (FCE) is for those who have achieved an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency. A passing grade on this exam is evidence that the candidate is capable of functioning day-to-day in an English-speaking environment.

The C1 Advanced exam (CAE) is for those who have achieved an advanced level of English proficiency. A passing grade on this exam is evidence that the candidate is capable of university-level study in an English-speaking environment.
