Winter Rockies Program

The Canadian Rockies Become Your Winter Classroom! In the Winter Rockies Program, students learn English in the heart of snowy Calgary, with real-world language experiences shaped by Canada’s iconic winter culture. Whether it’s tobogganing down icy hills, skating in downtown Calgary, or learning curling from the pros, every moment is designed to build fluency through adventure.

Our classes are rich in cultural content and conversation.
Our ESL classes take place weekday mornings and focus on communication and fluency using an action-based, immersive approach. With small class sizes, experienced teachers, and a modern teaching approach, students gain confidence through conversation; then take those skills into the real world each afternoon.

With over 25 years of experience in English education, our team at Global Village has worked to create dynamic industry partnerships and programs in the hopes of trailblazing the future in ESL instruction.

Our Winter Rockies Program includes:
> Morning English classes with qualified instructors
> Winter sports & cultural activities every afternoon—skiing, snow tubing, curling & more
> A weekend trip to Banff, including an optional overnight stay
> Safe and friendly homestay accommodation
> Delicious meals included
> Make international friends and lifelong memories

Whether you’re gliding across a frozen rink, racing down snowy hills, or warming up in a cozy café after a day of adventure, the Winter Rockies Program offers the ultimate blend of language learning and seasonal magic. This isn’t just about studying English — it’s about living it, every single day.
