Calgary School Opening as Global Village Expands into Alberta

Calgary, Alberta, Canada will be the next site for expansion by Global Village as the city of 1.5 million will become the home for a new downtown English school.

Starting in September 2022, the new Global Village school in Calgary will offer full-time face-to-face classes in General ESL and English for Academic Purposes (EAP), as well as one-to-one private lessons for General ESL, IELTS, CELPIP, and EAP. Global Village also continues to operate test centres in Victoria (CELPIP and IELTS) and Calgary (IELTS). Global Village Calgary is wholly owned by Global Village English Centre Victoria Ltd.

Global Village is very pleased to announce the reinvigoration of our team to consolidate operations and to aid in our expansion. Lynn Wyton is now serving as Lead Executive and Tania Knoch is the Senior Operations Manager, Alberta. All have key roles in marketing our GV locations and ensuring safe and high-quality student experiences.
